Prayer of St. Francis (Sebastian Temple)
Make me a channel of Your peace. Where there is hatred let me bring Your love.
Where there is injury Your pardon, Lord, And where there’s doubt, true faith in You.

Make me a channel of Your peace. Where there’s despair in life let me bring hope.
Where there is darkness, only light, and where there’s sadness ever joy.

Oh, Master, grant that I may never seek so much to be consoled as to console.
To be understood as to understand. To be loved, as to love with all my soul.

Make me a channel of Your peace. It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
in giving of ourselves that we receive, and in dying that we’re born to eternal life.

Here I am, Lord (Dan Schutte)
I, the Lord of sea and sky, I have heard my people cry
All who dwell in dark and sin, My hand will save.
I who made the stars and night, I will make the darkness bright
Who will bear my light to them, Whom shall I send?

Refrain:
Here I am Lord, Is it I Lord? I have heard you calling in the night
I will go Lord, If you lead me. I will hold your people in my heart.

I the Lord of snow and rain, I have borne my people’s pain
I have wept for love of them. They turn away.
I will break their hearts of stone, Fill their hearts with love alone
I will speak My word to them. Whom shall I send? (Refrain)

I, the Lord of wind and flame, I will tend the poor and lame.
I will set a feast for them. My hand will save.
Finest Bread I will provide till their hearts be satisfied.
I will give My life to them. Whom shall I send? (Refrain)

On Eagles Wings (Michael Joncas)
You who dwell in the shelter of the Lord,
who abide in His shadow for life,
say to the Lord: “My refuge, my rock in whom I trust!”

Refrain: And He will raise you up on eagle’s wings,
bear you on the breath of dawn,
make you to shine like the sun,
and hold you in the palm of His hand.

The snare of the fowler will never capture you,
and famine will bring you no fear:
under His wings your refuge,
His faithfulness your shield. (Refrain)

You need not fear the terror of the night,
nor the arrow that flies by day;
though thousands fall about you,
near you it shall not come. (Refrain)

For to his angels he’s given a command
to guard you in all of your ways;
upon their hands they will bear you up,
lest you dash your foot against a stone. (Refrain)

My Forever Friend (Charlie Landsborough)
Everybody needs a little help sometime, no one stands alone
Makes no difference if you’re just a child like me, or a king upon a throne
For there are no exceptions, we all stand in the line
Everybody needs a friend Let me tell you of mine

Refrain: He’s my forever friend, My leave-me-never friend
From darkest night to rainbow’s end; He’s my forever friend.

Even when I turn away He cares for me His love no one can shake
Even as I walk away He’s by my side With every breath I take
And sometimes I forget Him, my halo fails to shine
Sometimes I’m not His friend But He is always mine (Refrain)

If you still don’t know the one I’m talking of I think it’s time you knew
Long ago and far away upon a cross, my friend died for you
So if you’d like to meet Him and don’t know what to do
Ask my friend into you heart And He’ll be your friend too. (Refrain)

Lady of Knock (Dana Rosemary Scallon)
There were people of all ages gathered ‘round the gable wall
poor and humble men and women, little children at your call
We are gathered here before you, and our hearts are just the same
filled with joy at such a vision, as we praise your name

Refrain: Golden Rose, Queen of Ireland,
all my cares and troubles cease
as we kneel with love before you,
Lady of Knock, my Queen of Peace

Though your message was unspoken, still the truth in silence lies
as we gaze upon your vision, and the truth I try to find
here I stand with John the teacher, and with Joseph at your side
and I see the Lamb of God, on the Altar glorified (Refrain)

And the Lamb will conquer and the woman clothed in the sun
will shine Her light on everyone
and the lamb will conquer and the woman clothed in the sun,
will shine Her light on everyone. (Refrain)

We Remember (Marty Haugen)
We remember how You loved us to Your death,
and still we celebrate, for You are with us here;
and we believe that we will see You when You come in Your glory, Lord.
We remember, we celebrate, we believe.

Here, a million wounded souls are yearning just to touch You and be healed.
Gather all Your people, and hold them to Your heart. (Refrain)

Now we recreate Your love, we bring the bread and wine to share a meal.
Sign of grace and mercy, the presence of the Lord. (Refrain)

Christ, the Father’s great “Amen” to all the hopes and dreams of ev’ry heart,
Peace beyond all telling, and freedom from all fear. (Refrain)

See the face of Christ revealed in ev’ry person standing by your side,
Gift to one another, and temples of Your love. (Refrain)

his light and his peace. (Refrain)

Seek the face of the Lord and long for Him; He will bring you
His joy and His Hope. (Refrain)

Seek the face of the Lord and long for Him; He will bring you
His care and His love. (Refrain)

All I Ask Of You (Norbet & Priory)

Deep the joy of being together in one heart,
and for me that’s just where it is.(Refrain)

Someone will be calling you to be there for a while.
Can you hear their cry from deep within? (Refrain)

Persons come into the fiber of our lives
and their shadows fade and disappear. (Refrain)

Like A Shepherd (Dufford)
Refrain: Like a shepherd He feeds His flock
And gathers the lambs in His arms
Holding them carefully close to His heart
Leading them home.

Say to the cities of Judah
“Prepare the way of the Lord”
Go to the mountain top, lift your voice
“Jerusalem, here is your God”.(Refrain)

I myself will shepherd them
For others have led them astray
The lost I will rescue and heal their wounds
And pasture them, giving them rest. (Refrain)

Come unto me
If you are heavily burdened
And take my yoke upon your shoulders
I will give you rest. (Refrain)

Panis Angelicus (Heavenly Manna) Traditional (Latin) by C. Frank

Bread of Angels/Panis Angelicus (Curtis Stephan)
(Latin mixed with English)

Bread of angels we receive you, with us now abide. Precious Jesus, manna of ages, with us now reside. Panis angelicus, fit panis hominum, dat panis caelicus figuris terminum

Cup of mercy overflowing, fill us with your grace; win of passion O son begotten we flee to your embrace. Ores mirabilis man ducat Dominum, Pauper, Pauper, servus, et humilis

Word incarnate, dwell within us; pierce our hardened hearts. Tender Jesus, love so gentle, never let us part. Te trina Deitas unaque , poscimus, sic nos tu visita, sicut te colimus

Though unworthy, we received you, sacrament divine. Bread of angels, accept our praises, let your glory shine! Per tuas semitas duc nos quo tendimus, lucem, Ad lucem quam in habitas

Be Not Afraid (Bob Dufford)
You shall cross the barren desert,
but you shall not die of thirst.
You shall wander far in safety
though you do not know the way.
You shall speak your words in foreign lands
and all will understand.
You shall see the face of God and live.

Refrain: Be not afraid.
I go before you always.
Come, follow Me, and I will give you rest.

If you pass through raging waters in the sea,
you shall not drown.
If you walk amid the burning flames,
you shall not be harmed.
If you stand before the pow’r of hell
and death is at your side,
know that I am with you through it all. (Refrain)

Blessed are your poor,
for the kingdom shall be theirs.
Blest are you that weep and mourn,
for one day you shall laugh.
And if wicked tongues insult and hate you
all because of Me,
blessed, blessed are you! (Refrain)

Fly Like A Bird by Ken Canedo
Refrain: Fly like a bird to the Lord, my soul
I want to soar like an eagle
Though I may journey far away from home
I know I’ll never be alone

Oh, God, You know who I am;
You know my hopes and my dreams
In my pondering & fears;
In my joy and in my tears
Oh God, Your presence is real.(Refrain)

Where can I run from Your love
Where can I hide from my God
From the dawn of morning’s light
To the darkness of the night
Oh, God, Your presence is real.(Refrain)

The King of Love my Shepherd Is (Baker/Dykes)
The King of love my Shepherd is,
Whose goodness faileth never;
I nothing lack if I am His,
And He is mine forever.

Where streams of living water flow,
My ransomed soul He leadeth,
And, where the verdant pastures grow,
With food celestial feedeth.

Perverse and foolish oft I strayed,
But yet in love He sought me,
And on His shoulder gently laid,
And home rejoicing brought me.

In death’s dark vale I fear no ill,
With Thee, dear Lord, beside me;
Thy rod and staff my comfort still,
Thy Cross before to guide me.

Thou spread’st a table in my sight;
Thy unction grace bestoweth;
And oh, what transport of delight
From Thy pure chalice floweth!

And so through all the length of days
Thy goodness faileth never;
Good Shepherd, may I sing Thy praise
Within Thy house forever.

One Bread, One Body (John Foley, SJ)

Many the gifts,
many the works
One in the Lord
Of all (Refrain)

Gift of Finest Wheat (John Michael Talbot)
You satisfy the hungry heart
With gift of finest wheat
Come give to us, O Saving Lord
The Bread of Life to eat. (Refrain)

They know and heed his voice
So when You call Your family Lord
They follow and rejoice. (Refrain)

With joyful lips, we sing to You
Our praise and gratitude
That you should count us worthy Lord
To share this Heavenly food. (Refrain)

Is not the cup we bless and share
The blood of Christ outpoured?
Does not one cup, one loaf declare
Our Oneness in the Lord? (Refrain)

I am the Bread of Life (Suzanne Toolan, RSM)
I am the bread of life.
He who comes to Me shall not hunger;

and I will raise Him up on the last day.

The bread that I will give
is My flesh for the life of the world,
and he who eats of this bread,
he shall live for ever, he shall live for ever.(Refrain)

Unless you eat of the flesh of the Son of Man
and drink of his blood,and drink of his blood,
you shall not have life within you.(Refrain)

I am the resurrection, I am the life.
He who believes in Me
even if he die, he shall live for ever. (Refrain)

I come to the garden alone, While the dew is still on the roses
And the voice I hear falling on my ear, The Son of God discloses.

And He tells me I am His own;
And the joy we share as we tarry there,
None other has ever known.

He speaks, and the sound of His voice, Is so sweet the birds hush their singing,
And the melody that He gave to me, Within my heart is ringing. (Refrain)

I’d stay in the garden with Him,Though the night around me be falling,
But He bids me go; through the voice of woe, His voice to me is calling. (Refrain)
