Customization Questions
How does the customization of the order work?
Each Product contains a form to fill out with customizable information to get things started -you are also welcome to email additional information or attachments. If you are having any trouble we can help you by text, phone or email.
My relative/friend is making program or booklet choices and is not great with technology- Is there a way to get their choices to you more easily?
If someone not technologically inclined is involved, you can have them write their choices on paper and take a photo of the page and attach it to an email. Text or email us if you would like us to send you a printable form.
I found an image on another website- can I use that as a background?
When you use our website to place an order with us, you agree to our Terms and Conditions. In regards to your uploaded images, files and copyright: You agree that you are not using any 3rd party images. While we cannot stop you from ordering, if we do spot any violations we may cancel your order. So, it is your choice which images you use, but you could be held liable if there any issues.
If you find an image that you would like to use but is owned by a third party, please let us know as we have access to image subscription services and can often find a very similar image for you.
Can I send you my own layout for the inside of a booklet or program?
Yes, certainly. If you have a specific service layout that is different from our samples that information would be very helpful. You can copy and paste into the additional info/requests box at the end of the program/booklet form OR email us with a Word or PDF file attached (or simply type it into the email).
Will my item look just like the product image on the website?
Actual product color may vary slightly from the images shown. Every monitor or mobile display has a different capability to display colors, and every individual may see these colors differently. We try to display and describe as accurately as possible the printed colors of the items which appear on our website and in the drafts sent, but cannot say that the colors of printed items will exactly match those displayed on your monitor. Also Product images include digital versions which will not accurately display the resolution of the finished printed product (photos of examples are available upon request).
-Also the programs and booklets will vary according to the content choices you make.
Can I request that my Memorial Cards are NOT Laminated ?
I actually always laminate now as it is the best way to make sure every card has perfectly straight edges and all cards are the exact same size and adds a finished look- really makes the colors in the photos sharper. Also the cardstock I use is 216gsm which is the thickness of roughly 3-4 pieces of copy paper, so I worry unlaminated they would not hold up to being put in pockets etc. Apologies, but I just do not think you’d be happy with the unlaminated cards.
Photo Choices and Color
How can I optimize the print quality of my photos?
Here are a few good tips to help optimize the print quality of your photos:
- Upload the unedited, uncropped version of the file (I can crop and edit if desired)
- finding the original source can help, then having them EMAIL it to you(texting tends to resize the image and make it less sharp.)
- Upload the original file–not one saved from a website (ex. Facebook)
- If you have a printed photograph, often taking a photo of the photo with your cellphone can get a very good image (just remove it from the frame/glass first) and try to keep things level.
*Color Disclaimer *
We do our best to ensure that your orders are as true to color as possible. However, due to variances from screen to print, we cannot guarantee that the color you see on your screen accurately portrays the true color of the product. The finished product may be slightly different than how it appears online.
The only photo that I have is from Facebook or a bit blurry. Can I use it?
I can certainly use a less than optimal quality photo- I am often able to sharpen things a bit when editing. Just realize that if the photo that you upload or send is blurry when you zoom in, it will likely be a bit blurry when printed.
Is there a fee to remove/replace the background in my photo ?
No, photo editing is provided as part of this service. Keep in mind that how much I can do really depends on the photo itself.
It is much more difficult to remove a background when there is less contrast, with dark hair on a dark background for example.
How Many Do I Need?
How many Booklets or Programs do I need for a Funeral Service ?
This is one of the most common questions that I get. It is so hard to gauge attendance. I usually tell people to think of their close extended family that is very likely to attend (now for me that can be close to 50-60, but not every family is as large as mine!) Then extrapolate from that number how many friends, neighbors and colleagues could come to the Mass. It is tough and the day of the week and time of year can factor in as well. A common number ordered is 100/150 but YOU know your family and friends better than I do.
How many Memorial Cards should I order ?
Again, it is so hard to gauge attendance and the family members are the most capable estimators. But with prayer cards keep in mind that people may take more than one (Aunt Sue may take a handful to give to her children-or a coworker may take a bunch for work friends who couldn’t make it.
Turnaround Time
Are we too late to order?
If time is short please send me a text or email with service dates/times to make sure we can get things to you when needed. It really depends on how many orders I am working on and which items and the quantity you are requesting. While in emergencies I can design and print in a day or less, it is MUCH less stressful for everyone the more time that is available (gives you time to see drafts and make changes, consult other family members, without coming down to the wire). But Please do not hesitate to ask even if time seems short ! Also if you are far away and time is tight, I can also set up a digital download that you can have printed near you (have done this for both programs and prayer cards).
How long will my order take ?
Factors in order time include the type of product ordered, whether it is being picked up, delivered, shipped, shipping method chosen during checkout, and delivery location.
Most funeral items take 1-3 days to design/print/prepare (the more information that you provide/choices you make early on, the quicker we can get things done. It also helps immensely if you check your email/texts for questions and drafts regularly (very often we have to hold off on printing while we wait for draft approval or even just an answer to an Order of Service question).
We know things are often a whirlwind at these stressful times and understand it is difficult, which is why we highly recommend including the name of a secondary contact person to make decisions if we are unable to get in contact with you.

If I place an order will I be sure to receive it by the service date requested ?
If time is short please send me a text or email with service dates/times to make sure we can get things to you when needed. We do our very best to design and print personalized items quickly. However we are a small business, designing and producing all booklets, programs and prayer cards ourselves, thus there are some limitations. If a large group of orders comes in for the same date, I will accept the orders in a “first come, first serve” fashion. And will notify those ordering later as soon as possible to allow for a change of date/time or a full refund.
I know I am too far away without time for shipping- could you design the item to be printed near me ?
Yes – Check out the online shop- there is a listing for digital downloads of programs. note: I cannot guarantee the quality of another print center’s print, paper, score and fold, BUT if time and distance are a problem I am still happy to help you set up the program (make everything fit nicely in the order you want), edit photos, and customize.
Completed program will be emailed as 2 png images (cover and inside) and/or shareable link to pdf documents.

Pickup/Delivery/Shipping
How do I get my items?
Pick Up: Due to the time sensitive nature of Funeral products , if you are nearby, we highly recommend you Pickup the order at an agreed upon time- I leave a labeled bag on my porch to allow for a quick and easy pickup. An estimate of pickup time will be provided early on and updated once a final draft is approved.
Roadie: We also offer delivery via Roadie for those within roughly a 50 mile radius. Through this service, a driver will hand deliver items within a few hours (after production is finished). Costs increase with distance from our location and will show up when your address is entered at checkout.
Shipping: For those farther away, shipping is also an option. UPS Ground shipping time is estimated at 1-5 days for delivery depending on distance. We also offer UPS 3-day select(3 business days); UPS 2 day Air (2 business days) and UPS Next Day Air (delivered the following day) *

What is Roadie ?
Roadie is a Point-to-point delivery service with screened, verified drivers, and a live tracking service. A driver will hand deliver items to areas in a 50 mile radius within a few hours. Costs increase with distance from our location. Cost will show up when your address is entered at checkout (or text or email me for an estimate). We are not accountable for variances in delivery times after your order is picked up by a Roadie driver from our location.
Can I order from outside the United States ?

Cancellations/Returns
What is your cancellation policy?
Once an order is submitted, you may request a cancellation via text or email before work has begun and as long as no digital drafts have yet been created and you will receive a full refund.
What is your Return Policy?
Because of the nature of customized works by Lauren’s Personalized Mass Booklets, Returns of any kind are not accepted.
What if I notice an error after printing?
You are responsible for reviewing the final drafts and checking spelling of names etc.
Once the final draft is approved and printing has begun, no further changes are possible.
If there is a spelling mistake seen by you after approval, it is up to you to cover the cost of reprints if desired. This includes errors in dates, names etc.
So please check the final draft carefully before approving !
